Come on down to the Pub for some fun and games to kick off March with the classic game show Match Game! Although this is not the first time we have put on game shows at Fulton Street Pub & Grill, this is the first in a new series of game shows we will be putting on every first Monday of the month!RULES
- People from the crowd who want to be contestants can submit their names to be drawn. At 8:00, we will draw the contestants and introduce them and the panelists.
- The game will just similar to the one on TV. Each game will have two rounds, with a tiebreaker round ready to go as needed. Contestants have 2 rounds to try and match each 6 panelists. So that means if a contestant does not match a panelist in round 1, that panelist will be eligible to answer in round 2. Panelists that are matched in round 1 will not be answering the round 2 prompt.
- The contestant that matches the most panelists after 2 rounds wins the game. If both contestants match the same number of panelists, then we will play a tiebreaker. The tiebreaker puts all 6 panelists back in play for one extra round. If the tiebreaker ends a tie, we will play another tiebreaker until a winner is determined.
- The winning contestant then moves on to play Final Match. In Final Match, the contestant picks a panelist that he or she tries to match (usually a shorter two or three word phrase) for a $25 Pub gift card.
- After the first game completes (should be approx. 45 minutes), we will take a halftime break. Then the winning contestant will play the second game as the "returning champion". A challenger contestant will be drawn to play a whole new game with the returning champ. The returning champ can only win twice before being retired.
PRIZES
- The winning contestant of each game will get to spin our prize wheel.
- The losing contestant of each game will get a consolation prize.
- The winning contestant of each game will move on to play Final Match. If they get the Final Match correct, they will earn a $25 gift card to Fulton Street Pub.
***If the returning champion wins two games and gets Final Match correct both times, that person could win over $90 in prizes!***
