Join Game Master’s Guild for a special evening with guest speaker Hunter Dunn, who will be leading a session on one of the most powerful tools in a DM’s arsenal: drawing inspiration from the media you already love.In this workshop, Hunter will explore how movies, TV shows, books, video games, comics, and even music can spark fresh ideas for your D&D campaigns. Learn how to borrow themes, character dynamics, set pieces, and storytelling structures—and transform them into original encounters, plots, and worlds that feel uniquely your own. Whether you’re crafting your next big bad, designing a cinematic dungeon crawl, or searching for narrative hooks that resonate with players, this talk will help you turn familiar media into unforgettable tabletop moments.
This event is open to Dungeon Masters of all experience levels, from brand-new GMs looking for creative footing to veteran storytellers seeking renewed inspiration.
