Since starting its rocket program in 2015, Gold Coast based Gilmour Space Technologies has become the leading provider of Australian-made launch vehicles and satellite platforms. The venture-funded company is one of Australia’s largest space employers with over 200 employees; a private orbital spaceport in Bowen, North Queensland; funding from Australia's largest private investors; and a growing launch services business catering to Australian and international satellite customers.
