Gallery Walk 2.0 is BACK! Running May through December this year to boot. The Downtown Brattleboro Alliance is so very pleased to present this program on the First Friday of each month (with a rain date of the following day). This season Gallery Walk continues in the tradition of uniting Community with Art in all its many forms. Consider this our love letter to YOU- please join us and fall back in love with Downtown Brattleboro, with art as a means of creating shared positive experience, and most of all with our resilient and creative community!The Walk: This year we present 21 galleries each month, all walkable in Downtown Brattleboro. Many have offerings such as live-painting, pottery throwing, live music, guest speakers, and artist meet & greets:

The Stage: The Stone Church, Next Stage Arts, and Downtown Brattleboro Alliance proudly present live music each month 6-9pm. Look for the bandwagon at the intersection of Elliot & Main Street. The line-up this year is truly over the top amazing, you won’t want to miss a month! Elliot Street is closed from Main to the Parking Garage- Block Party time.
**June:
Pride Party and Cabaret hosted by Brattleboro Queer Dance Parties is a community-focused, inclusive, fun opportunity to connect, dance, and be entertained! Live Djs and Cabaret!
**July:
Gift- Brooklyn Psychedelic Rock

ALMA- ALMA is a three-part harmony, experimental dream pop band.

The Market:
The Brattleboro Flea is a collaborative marketplace of artists, makers and sellers local to the Brattleboro area. Each month the Harmony Lot will be transformed into a vibrant and bustling marketplace filled with a wide array of unique and eclectic goods including: ceramics, jewelry, cards and prints, macrame, natural medicinals, home goods, handmade clothing and textiles, plants and flowers, vintage clothing, Ezra’s Distler’s famous Photo Booth and more!
The mission of the Brattleboro Flea is to uplift and support makers at all stages of their creative practice. The Brattleboro Flea welcomes all people.
The Artful Streets:
Human Connection Project and Downtown Brattleboro Alliance have partnered to present these interactivities. Be part of the art-making at our pop-up art stations at Harmony TUNNEL and Harmony PARK! Each month has a theme and features local artists, organizations and arts engagement for all.

The Food:
We invite you to our Food Truck Food Court- located in the WEST side of Harmony Parking Lot (by the Brattleboro/Book mural). A rotating cast of local food trucks and some of our favorite Downtown Restaurants slinging their tasty offerings. Take a seat at our Community Table- a dazzling selection of florals and greenery set upon a long table with a seat for all.
The Tours:
In it’s heart of hearts, and in it’s lineage as well, Gallery Walk is about the overwhelming abundance of ART right here in little old Brattleboro. This season we are so very pleased to offer not one, but TWO guided tours of some of these jewels. No pre-registration is required for either of these tours, and they are FREE.
**Brattleboro Word’s Trail
5pm @ 118 Elliot

Each month at 5pm, Lissa Weinmann of 118 Elliot will lead a guided tour of the Brattleboro Word’s Trail. The tour begins at 118 Elliot and will hit several historic and inspiring locations in Downtown Brattleboro. There’s even an app for the Word’s Trail!
**Gallery Walk ArtSEE
6pm @ Harmony Collective (The chickenRex mural outside)
With a different theme and expert host each month- this Gallery ArtSEE tour will bring you to three or four galleries, all with a common thread: A color, a medium, a story, a speed, a thread weaving the most creative cohesion among some of the exhibits that month. Relax, take in the scenery, and let yourself be guided someplace new. You may be surprised where you end up!
The Facilities:
Rich Earth Institute bathrooms are available on Elliot Street. (Most of our galleries also offer restrooms for folks viewing the exhibits).
Handicapped Parking- There will parking available on the WEST side of Main Street, closest to Elliot Street. For additional assistance in this regard, please email [email protected]
Gallery Walk After Dark:
The night is young! Why stop the fun when we can keep it going? THE STAGE live music ends at 9pm but we’ve got these options for you folks looking to really make a night of it.
The Stone Church The Outdoor Patio Bar will be open till 11pm every month. Show inside. Live music piped outside and No ticket required. Win-win! May: The EDD- Heady Jams + over the top light show. June: Brattleboro Queer Dance Party & Cabaret- DJs, Cabaret
Echo Restaurant & Lounge The Bar at Echo is staying open late!
River Garden Marketplace Main Street’s newest addition has live music till 11pm.
Epsilon Spires presents: Backlot Cinema An outdoor cinema in downtown Brattleboro that shows super fun, international, arthouse & cult films every first Friday this summer! Films start at sundown.
The Collective Elliot Street’s favorite watering hole will host live music till 11pm and their bar is open till 2am for you night owls!
