Join Dallas-based artist Frances Bagley on Saturday, October 24 at 1:30 p.m. for a tour of Bruce Nauman: Identical.
Bagley's practice shares both conceptual and material commonalities with Nauman's, including her use of body casting, architectural elements, and film and photography, which she frequently combines in complex installations. Her work as a founding member of the collective Toxic Shock, a Dallas-based group of women artists that formed in 1980, explores power and politics—particularly those dynamics as experienced by women in the art world. Toxic Shock will open a new exhibition in the Nasher's Public Gallery on October 10.
