Lisa Elmaleh’s photographs depict complex aspects of migration primarily along the Texas border between the U.S. and Mexico and includes the people, landscape, migratory routes, and humanitarian efforts encountered there. The exhibition will also present photographers whose work centers the experience of immigrant families and communities in the Southwestern U.S.

The Gallery at the Visual & Performing Arts Center is dedicated to presenting professional, contemporary art exhibitions and cultural programming. By providing outstanding visual art experiences, we seek to inspire our audiences to embrace new ideas and perspectives and appreciate art in all its forms.
