Join us for an evening of art and conversation as the Temple Railroad & Heritage Museum welcomes artist and guest curator Steve Oleson for a special gallery opening and tour of his exhibition, Collaboration: Railroad, Graffiti, Photography, and Design Oleson’s work captures the unintentional collaboration between corporate railroad signage and graffiti artists, revealing a striking intersection of design, decay, and creativity. Through layered photography and digital composition, he explores how industrial logos and stenciled text—once symbols of order and control—are transformed over time by graffiti, weather, and motion into unexpected works of transcontinental pop art.
Guests will hear directly from Oleson about his creative process, influences, and the cultural stories embedded in these rolling canvases.
