About this Event
Join us for our first seminar of 2025 as part of the Galileo Science Cafe seminar speaking series. We'll be hearing from Dr. Kathryn Cassels, who has researched new ways to diagnose Chagas disease in congenitally infected infants. Not sure what Chagas disease is, or why you should care about it? Dr. Cassels will share all the details about this neglected tropical diseease, and how it's spreading and inpacting new folks even here in the States.
Doors open at 6:30 pm, where we'll have a light, free dinner available for in-person guests at the Manassas Museum. For remote guests, we will send a Zoom link for the event 2 days prior to the event, and again on the day of the event, to the email address you use to reserve your free tickets.
