Gail & Jim Spann Talk for the Tucson Gem & Fine Mineral Show 2025

After 19 years, Gail and Jim Spann’s mineral collection numbers over 20,000 specimens.

Not only do the Spanns collect fine minerals, but they also have an impressive assortment of rarities and specimens from type localities. Their enthusiasm remains constant as they continue to collect pieces that bring them joy in their hobby.

For their talk titled, ‘Spann’s Favorites’, Gail and Jim will share insights into the specimens they cherish most from their stunning collection.

• Please note: The Gail and Jim Spann collection will be on display at the Tucson Fine Mineral Gallery from February 12-15, featuring two separate exhibits: Spann Favorites (Gail and Jim Spann) and Teapots and Minerals (Gail Spann).
