About this Event
We're gonna make you GAG.
Wait, that doesn't sound right. Let me start over.
GAG, an LGBTQ+ comedy affair featuring top NYC queer comedians, is coming to Caveat! We’ve got the compulsively charming Jeremy Crittenden (you know, from Broadway and Star Trek: Discovery), the Southern-fried flavor of the hilarious Drew Tessier (Netflix, darling), and the bawdy adventures of Brooklyn bon vivant Bobby Hankinson (SiriusXM, but not a face for radio).
They’re ready to serve up a night of laughs, games, and maybe a little bit of chaos. It's going to be a great evening for the bad gays, multiple divorcees, unethical non-monogamists and all the freaks that (probably) keep Pete Buttigieg up at night.
Plus some special guests!
JEREMY CRITTENDEN is a comedian, actor, and content producer in New York City. He’s worked on broadway (Paradise Square), TV (Star Trek Discovery), and creates regular content for over 100k followers across Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. He refuses to call it X. He’s painfully single.
DREW TESSIER is a New York comedy scene mainstay with deep Southern roots. As the host of Drew Tessier’s (Mostly) Queer Comedy Show podcast, Drew showcases some of the best LGBTQ talent from across the country. He created and runs the New York Queer Comedy Festival and hosts New York City’s only weekly queer comedy show at a major venue, held at the iconic Greenwich Village Comedy Club. Drew’s unique blend of Southern charm and big-city humor has made him a standout in the comedy world.
BOBBY HANKINSON is a writer, performer and full-time homosexual. Since 2015, Bobby has hosted KWEENDOM, a monthly all-LGBTQ+ Brooklyn comedy show TimeOUT NY called "consistently dope" and Thrillist described as "extremely gay." In 2021, he curated and edited, Welcome to Kweendom, a book of essays from LGBTQ+ writers, published by Wheatfield Press with an introduction by actor Alan Cumming. Bobby has performed all over the country at venues including Broadway Comedy Club, The Bell House, Punchline Philly, Black Cat DC, Hartford Funny Bone, Laugh Boston and more. His writing has appeared in The Boston Globe, Houston Chronicle, VICE, Gothamist, amNewYork and on leading LGBTQ+ news sources, Towleroad.com and Gay City News.
