Gaelforce are a Celtic Folk Rock based Yorkshire, UK playing rocked up traditional & self penned songs/tunes.They are:
Chris Dyson – fiddle, vocal – ex Mike Hardings Band.
Geoff Taylor – electric guitars – ex Duncan McFarlane Band
Sammy Dowgill – bass, vocal
Jim Brierley – drums, vocal
Craig McIntosh – highland bagpipes – Pipe Major with the Los Angeles Pipe Band USA
The band have recorded & released the album `Equinox` which is available on most digital platforms including Spotify, Amazon Music & Apple Music & a follow up album is imminent.
In Jan 2023 Gaelforce won by public vote, the introducing stage played at the Great British Folk Festival at Butlins in Skegness. They played to a couple of thousand festival people & then invited to play on the centre stage on the Saturday again to a couple of thousand people.
