#GAConf By The Sea 2026

GAConf Europe part 2 - as the conference was online this year with networking and socialising on Discord, we're also holding an in-person mixer during Develop Brighton, in conjunction with the fine folk over at Game Accessibility Gathering. The mixer will be after the Gathering and in the same venue, but with a 2h break inbetween.

It's a chance for people with shared interest in accessibility for disabled players to get together in person for a chinwag and networking. Some of the greatest success stories from the conference have come from discussions in the breaks and evening events.

Drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and some light snacks will be provided, and there may also be some other fun surprises! You are welcome to bring food in with you, but please don't bring any allergens into the venue.

As always we'll have a dedicated table for sharing leaflets, business cards and so on, so please feel free to bring along anything that might be of interest to other attendees.

The space is located on the top floor of the building through lift access. All bathrooms and a quiet room are on the same floor.

The main space is a large L-shape with a range of seating types, plenty of space for wheelchairs, and a central bar area. There is also a separate quiet room.

We offer free tickets for assistants of disabled attendees, and developers who have been recently laid off. If you need tickets for either of these, please email [email protected] and we'll drop over a 100% discount code.

As always, all attendees are required to abide with the GAConf/IGDA code of conduct.

As the event is hosted at Unity Technologies, all attendees are required to sign an NDA for security purposes. A link to this will be sent to you prior to the event, and you will be required to complete the NDA to be admitted.

The venue also prohibits recording, and if you want to take photos please ask permission from anyone in the shot, and respect the badge system.
