The Gabriel Wade Quintet is comprised of a group of friends who first connected at Northern Illinois University. This energetic ensemble features Jared Schultz on alto saxophone, Isaiah Jones Jr. on piano, Nat Lin on bass, Sid Smith IV on drums, and Gabriel Wade on trumpet.
The band’s members hail from various parts of the USA and similarly bring a diversity of musical influences to each performance: straight-ahead jazz, gospel, r&b, hip-hop, neo-soul, and jazz fusion all inform the dynamics of the GWQ.
