An eagerly anticipated New Year fixture, Duo Martin Godefroi are coming to Weedon Balfolk.Cédric Martin comes from Alsace and is a maestro on the button accordion. He has led tours to England with Expire, Moussaka, Big Jeans, and Salmanazar for the last 15 years or so. On this tour Cédric will be joined by Samuel Godefroi on violin. Samuel is a member of Blam, a great French balfolk trio. So with Cédric on button accordion and Samuel on violin they make great danceable music. This accordion and fiddle duo will be touring to teach and play for traditional French dances in Tinwell, Sheffield, and Weedon.
The afternoon includes a shared meal. Please bring a plate of food to share. Drinks will be available from the kitchen.
