✨ La Fête des Lumières de Lyon est un des événements les plus attendus en France et en Europe et attire de nombreux visiteurs dans les rues illuminées de la ville! Façades, rues, monuments et jardins se dévoilent sous des éclairages spectaculaires! ✨
Chaque année, éclairagistes, designers, vidéastes, architectes, graphistes, artistes plasticiens, mais aussi compagnies de spectacles de rue, proposent des installations inédites et surprenantes.
Sur la place des Terreaux, la fontaine Bartholdi s’anime en un ballet aquatique sur fond sonore. La façade de la cathédrale Saint-Jean, elle, joue avec la modernité : les animations 3D unissant des siècles d’histoire dans un même tempo. Les deux fleuves lyonnais, le Rhône et la Saône, contribuent à leur façon : miroirs géants, ils font danser les monuments et scintiller les ponts au rythme des flots. La Fête des Lumières de Lyon, c’est vivre la nuit en mode féérique et itinérant pour lancer les fêtes de fin d’année de la plus belle des façons 🎉

On December 9th, come discover and enjoy the annual ✨ Festival of Lights ✨ in Lyon and its 🎅 Christmas Market 🎅 !
The Festival of Lights in Lyon (“Fête des Lumières” in French) is one of the most awaited public events in France and draws several million people onto the illuminated streets of the city. This celebration of light unveils the architectural treasures of the city in an unexpected way, through the illuminating of monuments, streets, hills and river banks.
Designers from all over the world compete to produce the most startling installations and displays, and the vibrant light shows everywhere around the city are highlighted by video, music and sound effects. On the Place des Terreaux, the Bartholdi fountain comes alive, like a water ballet. The facade of St John's Cathedral combines with modern technology: 3D shows merge with centuries of history at the same time. The Rhône riverside is being gradually transformed into thirty miles of waterfront attractions, with an open-air dining area, a promenade, viewing points, artworks and nature trails.
The Fête des Lumières in Lyon, is a truly magical way to spend the evening, and to start the end of year holidays in the most beautiful way possible!
