The French Institute of South Africa (IFAS) is excited to announce the 2024 edition of Fête de la Musique, also known as World Music Day! ?
Join us on the 22nd of June 2024 at Victoria Yards in Johannesburg from 1 to 7pm for a day filled with free, family-friendly concerts featuring local musicians, bands, singers, poets, and DJs.
For the past 13 years, Fête de la Musique has captivated audiences with its diverse musical offerings, encompassing jazz, soul, funk, rock, electro, reggae, classical, and more. This year's festival promises to be no exception!
Headliners this year are Stogie T, Maleh and Muneyi with a special performance by Melissa Laveaux.
Other incredible local musical acts include:
Sun Xa Experiment, Laliboi, Xhanti Nokwali, Dj Napi Tapi, Rorisang Sechele, Just 6, Flex of He & I, Lady Choc, androgenius, Jae Nuune, i-SO and GHXST Bunny
And featured poets are: Noxolo Desire, Lord Strider and Jonathan Lefenya!
