Féile Chill Damhnait at the Lifeboat Station and Cé Bheag on Saturday.
With that most successful festival of the #feilechilldamhnait now in full swing, we as ‘residents’ in their community are happy to play our part. On this coming Saturday ( 16th) we will open the doors of our Lifeboat Station to the public and our crew will have the #achillrnli Lifeboat alongside the pontoon at Cé Bheag and open to visits and all between the hours of 2pm and 4pm.
This is a unique opportunity to visit the RNLB ‘Sam and Ada Moody’ our 14m Trent class lifeboat , to go on board and view her high tech navigational and lifesaving equipment and meet with our crew of volunteers on board, the men and women who give of their time and expertise to take the Lifeboat to sea in all times and weather conditions . Maybe you could become a crew member yourself and become part of our lifesaving team.
In any event come along on Saturday between 2pm and 4pm and visit our station and lifeboat and meet our volunteers who work so hard in #SavingLivesAtSea.
