Free lunch and learn for adults to socialize and learn something new. We’re delighted to welcome Tamara Strickley as our April speaker. Adopted from Korea and brought to the United States in 1960 after spending her first year with her birth family, Tamara now dedicates her time to helping others reconnect with their roots. Through her work with 325Kamra, she supports Korean adoptees, veterans who spent time in Korea, and others seeking family connections—whether through extensive search efforts or simply by making DNA available for those who may be looking.
Tamara lives right here in Valdese and is an active member of both the Lions Club and the American Legion. Her story and her service are powerful reminders of how one person can make a difference in the lives of many.
