Is your child interested in becoming a veterinarian one day? If so, you're in the right place! Our Future Vet Workshop is designed to immerse students in the world of shelter medicine.
With hands-on activities, meet-and-greets with real animal care professionals, and a look inside the world of veterinary science, this program is designed for kids who just can't get enough of their furry (or feathery!) friends.
Students in grades 7-8 will follow the journey of a shelter animal from arrival to the adoption floor. Along the way they will dive into animal dental health, visit behind-the-scenes areas of the shelter, and practice their suturing skills.
