The US Department of Energy, Washington State Department of Ecology, and US Environmental Protection Agency will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, July 10 at 6 p.m. at the DoubleTree Hotel in Olympia, to discuss a recent landmark agreement that lays out a realistic and achievable course for cleaning up millions of gallons of radioactive and chemical waste from large, underground tanks at the Hanford Site.This is the second of three regional meetings on the proposed changes to the Tri-Party Agreement and consent decree.
