Future Forward: Digital Skills For Everyday Life Basic

Join us for Future Forward: Digital Literacy – Basics, a one-day, in-person workshop designed to help you feel confident using phones, computers, and the internet — even if you’re starting from zero. With hands-on practice and friendly support, you’ll learn how to access government services, use transit apps and navigation tools, send emails and join video calls, shop safely online, and protect your accounts and data. Laptops will be available (or bring your own), and we’ll have light refreshments, games, and fun activities to make learning easy and enjoyable. No experience is needed, and every participant will receive a certificate of completion.

With hands-on practice and friendly support, you’ll learn how to:

💻 Access government services and fill out online applications🗺️ Use transit apps, Google Maps, and navigation tools📧 Send emails, messages, and join video calls🛍️ Shop safely and avoid online scams🔐 Set up your phone, secure your accounts, and protect your data

• One Lunch Break (30 minutes) – refreshments provided 🍴

• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English
