Future Folk is proud to be presenting The Pursuit of Pleasure who are celebrating the launch of their latest project the 10-track album - 'Songs Mostly in Waltz Time'. The Pursuit of Pleasure play a particularly British strain of Americana.
With male / female lead vocalists, their unique blend of alt-country and folk draws influence from artists like First Aid Kit, Michael Kiwanuka, The Mamas & Papas, The Decemberists and Jefferson Airplane.
The songs themselves combine melodic pop melodies with darker, introspective lyrics that have a deeply personal honesty to them.
Supported by the fantastic Jalou - Entry will be £5 on the door
