Future Creators Youth Art Residency Information Session
About this Event
Is your child constantly creating, drawing, painting, or imagining new ideas? The Future Creators Youth Art Residency was designed to nurture young artists by providing an immersive, mentorship-based creative experience that goes beyond traditional art classes.
Join us for an informational session to learn about this unique residency for exceptional student artists in grades 1–5. During this session, families will learn about the vision behind the program, residency expectations, application process, timeline, and what selected students can expect throughout the experience.
Beginning in November, students will be paired with professional artist mentors and participate in hands-on studio sessions where they’ll strengthen their artistic skills, explore their creativity, and develop a cohesive body of original artwork. Throughout the residency, students will receive guidance, encouragement, and insight from working artists while building confidence in their own creative voice.
The residency concludes with a public exhibition in April, where each young artist will showcase their completed collection and celebrate the growth they’ve experienced throughout the program.
