About this Event

Do you want to discover one of the most powerful and safest ways scientists and doctor have developed and use to look inside materials, plants, insects, animals, and indeed the human body? During this demo you will be watching a live magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) experiment to learn about instrumentation and methodologies used, and the amazing images it produces. MRI is used as a non-invasive and painless routine exam that doctors use to look inside people to diagnose a variety of illnesses, including cancer. It is also abundantly used in research laboratories around the worlds to study properties of materials, plants, animals and much more. Join us to discover who are our new "little patients" and help us provide a diagnosis for them.

SAFETY NOTE: If you have a pacemaker or a metal implant in your body, please make the demonstrators aware at the start of the tour.
