About Future Artists Theater Camp

Give your child a summer of creativity, confidence, and performance! Led by experienced teaching artists and working entertainment professionals, campers learn inside LACAE's professional theater facility in North Hollywood, a supportive, high-energy environment where self-expression takes center stage.

Whether your child is stepping on stage for the first time or is already a passionate performer, our small-group instruction meets every student where they are to build real acting skills, public speaking confidence, and lifelong friendships.

Choose Your Week (or Join for Both!)
Week 1: Stage Stories (August 3 – August 7)

Acting • Improv • Musical Theater • Storytelling

Students create characters, develop original scenes, and explore improvisation through creative play.

• Grand Finale: A live showcase performance at 4:30 PM on Friday on the LACAE stage for family and friends!

Week 2: Screen Stories (August 10 – August 14)

On-Camera Acting • TV Comedy • Audition Skills • Digital Creation

Campers step in front of the lens to learn on-camera technique, comedy structure, and digital storytelling.

• Grand Finale: A live showcase performance at 4:30 PM on Friday featuring student sketches & scenes!

(Note for LAUSD Families: Special prorated options available for Week 2 to match your school schedule!)
