Archetype
Archetype is an abstract scream for something quite fragile, exploring personal experiences of a polarising society and disruptive isolation. Contrastingly, the project embraces digitized, precise sound design with bold hooks and dramatic vocals, evoking industrial trip-hop and post-punk-leaning electronics.
Bergur Anderson
Bergur Anderson is an electric troubadour and sound artist, focusing on polyphonic storytelling and the transitory qualities of sound through experimental pop music, sound publications and voice-based art works. Unisong (2024) is his fourth release on the Futura Resistenza label — with previous releases including solo LP Night Time Transmissions (2021) and come, Memory: fieldwork (2023), a collaborative cassette made with visual artist and partner Katrina Niebergal.
Lucija Gregov
Lucija is a cellist and improviser interested in sound, music and noise. Her instrumental cello practice is a starting point of the sonic exploration through which over time she disintegrated traditional techniques in order to discover a more personal and sincere sound aesthetic. Lucija uses a visceral approach to improvisation as a way to propose a distinctive way of creating, co-creating, thinking and performing in and about current sonic dynamic. She found improvisation to be a significant tool in enabling emergence of practice and sound materials that are open-ended and continuously transformative.
