A Fusion Teacher Training in Berlin
Six days of exploring the skills of teaching fusion dance, organizing classrooms, and developing curriculum. Two of those days will be at a weekend festival where you will get the opportunity to analyze classes with us and possibly even teach alongside us.
Things you will get from this week:
→ A small group of peers to exchange ideas with
→ Some systems on how we think about fusion dancing
→ Ideas on how to structure curriculum
→ Develop your facilitation and classroom management skills
→ Lots of feedback and learning from peers
→ Practice teaching in small groups
Bonus:
Some of the participants who are ready will have various opportunities to teach classes during the weekend festival, getting invaluable live feedback from both us as instructors and your peers.
This training is not about us telling you exactly what content you should be teaching.
We are here to share what works for us, to help you discover your own values of what fusion dancing can be, and develop your skills for sharing this with others. We hope to help bring out your individual superpowers and give you some polish so you can shine. If everyone in the Teacher Training cohort came out teaching exactly the same, we would not consider that a success story!
Who are your teachers?
Mark & Flouer have both been teaching fusion since the days before it was called fusion. They have been instrumental in both developing strong local scenes and spreading fusion dancing to other communities by teaching internationally. Through all this time they have each developed their own ideas about what fusion dance is and how to teach it, and they are ready to share it with you.

Training Dates:
→ Tuesday May 14th beginning with dinner and a few hours in the classroom.
→ Friday May 17th Weekender begins in the evening
→ Last decompression meeting is the evening of Sunday May 19th for dinner

The participation fee is on a sliding scale. 540 euros - 620 euros. The standard ticket price would be 580 euros.
If you would love to participate, but the cost makes it inaccessible, please let us know in the comments box, so we can let you know in case further scholarship possibilities become available.
The price includes 3 group dinners, as well as entry to all the parties of the weekend.
