Join us every Wednesday at Gnarly Deli in downtown Chico for Fusion dance classes and social dancing! ???In the dictionary, "Fusion" is the process of joining two or more things into one. In this case, we are combining dances!
Each week, we teach a different dance ? Salsa, Bachata, Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba, Merengue and more! Then we “fuse it” with another style of dance or with another genre of music.
? Music at Fusion events is always modern and therefore always changing. Popular genres include Blues, Hip Hop, R&B, Latin Fusion, Funk, and Indie -- We also tend to throw in a few old classics here and there.
Note: You do not need ANY previous experience to attend this event. We welcome brand new beginners in the Beginning Fusion class at 7:45 every week! **No partner needed **All are welcome ✨
SCHEDULE:
7:00 pm - Intermediate/Advanced Fusion Dance Class
Designed for dancers with some partner dance experience. Your experience can be in Latin, Swing, Ballroom, Tango, Lindy, Blues...etc. If you do not have Intermediate dance experience, feel free to come early and enjoy dinner at the bar!
7:45 pm - Intro 2 Fusion Dance Class ✨ (for beginners)
Designed for anyone on planet earth. Seriously. You do not need ANY previous experience to join this class. We will walk you through the basics of Fusion dancing from the very first step.
8:30pm - Fusion Social Dance -- Dance the night away to modern rhythms including R&B, Hip Hop, Blues, Latin Urbano, and more! Enjoy delicious food and drinks at Gnarly Deli! Dancing goes till about 10pm or later

Tickets are available on EventBrite or at the door with Cash or Venmo.

Gnarly Deli is a bar and restaurant. Come early for appetizers or grab a burger and a drink between classes! Gnarly Deli also has delicious wine and refreshing beers on tap!
Gnarly Deli is located in downtown Chico on the corner of Salem and 2nd street. It is underground next to Mom’s restaurant and directly across the street from the historical El Rey Theatre.
Parking is free after 6pm.

Your hosts, Isaiah Meders and Rachel Hayes have over 40 years of combined dance experience in Ballroom, Theatre Arts, Salsa, Bachata, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Argentine Tango, Contemporary, Modern, Jazz, Ballet, and more. Due to their diverse dance backgrounds, Isaiah and Rachel are able to pull movements from a lot of different dances and combine them into something new.
