Fusion Cantonese Opera: The Prop Master's Dream Workshop + Film Preview
Join us at the Vancouver Public Library, Central Library for an exciting behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming remount of "The Prop Master's Dream" fusion Cantonese opera by Vancouver Cantonese Opera! We'll share the true story of Wah-Kwan Gwan (1929-2000), a legendary prop master born to a Chinese father and an Indigenous mother in B.C., including excerpts of a short documentary about the making of this groundbreaking opera.
