TERM 4: EMBODIED FUSION BELLYDANCE
8 Week Beginner Foundations Course Lismore
Starts October 22nd
Tuesdays 6:00-7:30pm NSW time (90 min classes)

These short Foundation Bellydance courses are inspired by the desire to share this ancient practice from the intentional place of its roots; which is to Celebrate, Honour, Envoke and Embody the Power of the Feminine.
These beginner courses have been created with 6 core components in mind:
- Foundational Bellydance Technique
- Heart-Body Attunement
- Intuitive Sensual Movement
- Creative Dance Flow
- Joyful Self-Loving Acceptance
- Sacred Sisterhood Connection
This course is an holistic approach to learning bellydance. Each woman is invited and welcomed into a safe, non-competitive environment to connect more deeply to the powerful feminine energy within ourselves and our sisters.
Each class begins with taking time to slow down, drop into our bodies and open to receive the magic and the wisdom sacred (intentional) feminine movement has to offer us.
Over the term, teachings will range from technique focused to more relaxed practices that allow students to embody the shapes, flow, sensuality and power of this dance from an intuitive place.
We will also enjoy learning and playing with putting moves together in different ways, to allow each student to find these movement patterns naturally when freestyling, inside or outside of class.
Through embodiment practices, clear bellydance technique tutoring & drills, playful partner & grouped practices, freestyle dancing and invitations to be witnessed dancing for your fellow dance sisters in a relaxed, joyful class setting; these classes will uplift and nourish your entire being, whilst creating profoundly powerful opportunities for clearing major blockages and deep inner healing.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
- No credits/refunds for course cancellations, however they can be resold/transferred to another person if for some reason you cannot attend.
- No credits/refunds for missed classes, however students can makeup classes at other timeslots or locations during the
same term.
- If in the case of teacher illness, major widespread flooding, fires, lockdowns or some other major unexpected event; the course will either be put on hold for a maximum of 4 weeks, or the course will be cut short and students will be refunded for the cancelled classes.
- Dance classes can involve risk of personal injury. While Malika takes all reasonable care in the conduct of her classes, she accepts no responsibility for injury or loss caused during classes or whilst participants are at or near the dance studio. You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically and mentally fit for the class and during the class, you must at all times take care of your own personal safety.
- It is your responsibility to advise Malika of any injuries or health conditions, whereby she may recommend you get medical clearance for attending the course.
- If you do participate in the course with any kind of medical condition, you do so at your own risk. If you're not sure if you can participate in this course with your medical condition/injury, it is recommended that you try a class casually first as refunds will not be issued if it turns out not to be suitable for you.

ABOUT MALIKA & FUSION BELLYDANCE
This contemporary expression of Bellydance is powerful, sensual and mesmerising. With slow snake-like movements and hypnotising hip rhythms, gateways to healing are opened through sacral activation and embodied presence.
Bellydance invites one in to the delicious realms of femininity & sensuality, enabling deeper attunement to the inner landscape and the language of the body. These movements can be a tool to one’s embodiment journey as the polarity between flow and discipline, feminine and masculine, play out in each dancer.
Having journeyed deep into the underworld of her own shadows, Malika’s movement experience expands beyond linear knowledge and the 11+ years she’s been bellydancing.
After decades living in a paralytic fear of being seen, overwhelming shame and total disconnection from the heart and body, Malika found her way onto a deep healing path which immediately became intricately entwined with her Bellydance journey.
Malika's experience in trauma and mental health have inspired her gentle & compassionate facilitating style; and her devotion to personal evolution via presence & embodiment is woven throughout her Bellydance offerings.
Malika utilizes her deep connection to music, rhythm & the energetics of sound to create a mindfully curated musical journey of neo-beats that is in synch with each of her unique expressions of the dance.
