Make beautiful things with fused glass!Scrap Glass Bowl/Plate – This class will take 2 fusings in the kiln. We will be supplying all glass for you to cut up and arrange in a bottomless mold where we will full fuse (1480 degrees) the piece in the kiln. Mold options are round, square, flower or heart. After 1st firing, it will then be slumped into a bowl or plate. Pieces will be available for pick-up within a week after class.
Learn the technique of fusing glass pieces to make a one of a kind objects. This class is an introduction to how glass fuses or “melts” together. Each student will learn the properties of glass, what kinds of glass can fuse to each other, and how to safely “cut” glass. All tools and materials are provided.
This is a great class to do with a friend or family member. There are several projects to choose from, so everyone goes home happy and feeling creatively fulfilled!
This workshop is recommended for 12yrs+ or 8yrs+ if accompanied by an adult.
