CHRISTMAS DISH FUSED GLASS WORKSHOPSunday 14 December 9.45 am – 1.00 pm & 2.30 pm - 5.45 pm
£70 including refreshments, materials, use of equipment on the day, tutoring & certificate of completion.
This half-day group workshop with our guest tutor, June Massey, is suitable for all skill levels.
We are offering 2 sessions - a morning and an afternoon.
We will learn how raw glass is made and about the fused glass processes.
June will teach you how to cut glass and use different types of glass to make your design. It is exciting to produce a piece that gradually grows from a variety of small pieces of glass!
We will make a 20 x 20 cm dish on a Christmas theme. The dish could be a family heirloom, appearing every year as a mince pie plate!
June will bring examples of her work & photographs of other students' work to inspire you.
All materials are provided.
Please wear shoes with closed toes.
This CHRISTMAS DISH FUSED GLASS WORKSHOP will be held in the peaceful setting of our Blended Monkey studios on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border.
Numbers are limited to ensure you get plenty of 1-2-1 tuition.
This relaxing workshop is suitable for 16+.
About a week before your workshop date, we'll e-mail you again with more details about parking etc.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the session - tailored to meet all dietary requirements.
All students will be provided with a certificate of completion.

Suitable for 16+
The half-day workshop includes:
- Materials & use of equipment on the day

- As we limit the number of people, you get to have some 1-2-1 tuition and the maximum benefit from a day with no distractions
- Certificate of completion
June will deliver your finished pieces to you.
