Learn how to cut and arrange glass to make a fused glass creation!
About this Event

Emmulating the waves seen at the Sleeping Giant harbourfront, this workshop will have you create a fused glass heart-shaped wave-inspired suncatcher approximately 9" wide.

This workshop will cover the basics of fused glass and layering techniques and will allow for free-form use of glass. While cutting techniques will be explained, taught and encouraged, this workshop is very beginner-friendly as this project can be completed with little to no cutting if necessary. Every piece will end up very different, so embrace the unique qualities of fused glass and enjoy the experience.

No experience is required; all tools, materials, and equipment will be supplied.

For safety reasons, long pants and closed toe shoes must be worn.

**After the workshop the glass will be kiln-fired. You will be able to pick up your finished artwork at the Canvas & Clay storefront.
