Class Length: One day, 1pm - 3pm
Class Description: Ever wondered about how to create fused glass pieces of your own? Fused glass is a glass-working technique that involves heating and joining multiple pieces of glass together in a kiln. In this one-day workshop, your instructor will walk you through step-by-step, how to score and snap sheet glass to make your own 4" x 8" fused glass artwork. Transform glass into a luminous artwork you'll want to display all year long. Learn to cut and combine brilliantly colored pieces of sheet glass to create luminous works. Once you design it, we’ll fire it, so that all pieces become one before you pick up at a later date. A great class for beginners interested in fused glass technique and who are ready to learn more about fused glass artwork. A materials fee of $75 is added at time of registration and covers all materials.
