Fused glass festive tealight holder

Join us for a fun and creative workshop where you can create your very own fused glass tealight holder in the style of a Christmas fireplace. This event is perfect for unleashing your artistic side and learning the art of glass fusion.

Claire Myers, an experienced glass fuser, will guide you through the process, from selecting festive themed glass pieces to arranging them together to create an unusual tealight holder. A section of the glass is clear so that when the tealight holder light is turned on it looks like the flames in the fireplace are flickering.

No previous experience is needed (and no cutting and grinding is involved!). You will learn how to apply frit (crushed glass), shaped glass pieces and murrine to bullseye glass in order to make one charming and unique piece, measuring 12cm in diameter.

The workshop is £50 per person and is approximately 1.5 hours (some participants finish earlier than this but we have allowed enough time to allow a relaxed pace for the whole class). This includes all materials and equipment used.Following the session your work will be taken away to be fired and a matching ribbon added. You will be able to collect from The Craft House about a week later.
