Fused Glass Boat

In this fused glass workshop you will get to decorate the sail of a boat. Starting with a clear glass base you can choose between a tack fuse and a contour fuse depending on the style of sail you wish to create.

The total height of this sailboat will be approximately 12”, with the sail being approximately 10” and the boat being approximately 2” tall. A wooden boat base will be provided.

This is an excellent chance to get to learn to cut and handle glass while creating something that brings you memories of the warmer months and adventure. No experience is required; all tools, materials, and equipment will be supplied.

For safety reasons, long pants and closed toe shoes must be worn.

**After the workshop the glass will be kiln-fired. You will be able to pick up your assembled boat approximately two weeks after the workshop.

Skill level: Beginner

Ages: 10+

This is a family-friendly event. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
