Funny Women of a Certain Age

What began as a way to work with her friends has exploded on the comedy scene. When Carole (a veteran of the stand up scene for over 40 years) started, you would never see two female comics on the same show. Fast forward to today’s comedy scene and nothing has changed, even though there are way more women in comedy. Carole decided to do something about it. Her first Showtime special made history as the only comedy special to feature 6 female comics over the age of 50. In fact it was the network's highest rated comedy special of 2019. Two more have followed with more in the works for 2022!

COVID Policies

To keep our spaces safe, we have limited seating to two-thirds of normal capacity with space left between parties and sanitize surfaces regularly. Additionally, the theater is equipped with a ventilation system capable of completely replacing the air in the space every ten minutes.

Masks:

Masks are required at all times by audience members and staff, as well as by performers in the lobby area. While on stage, our performers will be unmasked.

Vaccination:

Full vaccination (two weeks past final dose of Pfizer, Moderna, or J&J) is required for all audience members, and staff. Please note that while the majority of our performers are vaccinated against COVID-19, some may not be, but will have shown a recent negative test upon entering the space.

We accept the following as proof of vaccination status:

• Your US vaccine card
• The NY Excelsior app or NJ Docket app
• A photo of your vaccine card with matching photo ID
• A non-US vaccine card presented with a passport and itinerary

All in attendance (audience, staff, performers, etc) must adhere to these policies or be asked to leave.
