The Funky Easel is a relaxed Sip & Paint experience designed to light you up and gently bring out your creative side — even if you think you haven't got one 😉

Join us for a feel-good evening where you can unwind, have a laugh, and do something completely different… all whilst enjoying a glass of your favourite tipple.

🌅 Evening Glow Warm, dreamy, and utterly beautiful — this one is all about capturing that golden moment when the sun melts into the sea and everything turns to amber and rose.

Sunsets over water are magical to paint… those sweeping layers of colour, the shimmer on the waves, and that soft glow on the horizon that makes you want to just breathe it all in.

This painting is all about blending, layering, and letting the colours do the work — deeply satisfying and stunning to take home.

This isn't about getting it perfect. It's about switching off, getting stuck in, and letting something lovely unfold.

📅 Event Details Thursday 27th August 2026 | 6.30-8.30pm 📍 Bistro on the Quay, Ipswich

The venue is open all day, so you're welcome to arrive early and enjoy food or drinks before we begin (or stay after and make a night of it).

🎨 What to expect You'll be guided step-by-step by Becca (that's me 👋), a professional artist, in a relaxed and friendly way — with plenty of one-to-one help as you go.
