Funkadesi turns 30 in 2026. Let's start our year long celebration at one of the band's favorite venues.Winner of Chicago Reader's "Best World Music Group 2013," Funkadesi returns to Martyrs' for their signature Anniversary Concert! The 8-Time Award-Winning band blends Indian music (bhangra, bollywood, folk) with reggae, funk, and Afro-Caribbean grooves. The Chicago-based band’s “one-family” vibe makes for a global-groove-drenched show.
