Funk Cancer Concert - Fundraiser for Robert Dami

Admission to the show is a $20 advance donation to Robert Dami's GoFund Me page. (Click on ticket link.) This fundraiser concert for Robert Dami will feature the Cowardly Lions, Wonderfuzz, and Lost Wax. Robert W. Dami served in the army from 2003- 2012. In 2012, he retired from the military and was assigned to the Specialized Search Dog Handler Course. In January 2013 he became a Regional Canine Training Instructor with the Transportation Security Administration at Will Rogers International Airport and is currently assigned to the Kansas City International Airport, MO.

In 2020, He was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis and Hodgkin Lymphoma in June 2022. These diagnoses are traced back to his time served in the military. He is currently going through chemotherapy treatments and is estimated to be out of work for 6 months. He loves working with his Officer’s and their canine partners to ensure the traveling public have a safe and secure place to travel. He hopes to return to his job and continue to train and work with his canine partners. He and his lovely wife Amanda have been together for 15 years and enjoy hanging out, listening to live music, socializing with good friends, and spending time with their two cats at home.
