Soul Funk Secret are a London-based collective built on raw groove, world-class musicianship, and voices that stop a room. Currently fronted by the commanding Valentina Russo — and shaped by the talents of former vocalists Sulene Fleming and Vita Ventura — the band brings together musicians who have shared stages and studios with some of the biggest names in soul and funk history.

The band's musicians have performed and recorded alongside Brand New Heavies, Incognito, the RAH Band, Nona Hendryx, BB King, and Martha High — legendary vocalist of the James Brown Band. That pedigree lives in every performance: tight, soulful, and deeply rooted in the tradition, while feeling entirely alive in the moment.

Their debut album City Life hit #1 on the UK Soul Chart in 2015, with singles 'Sympathy' and 'Bright Sunshine' earning national radio play including BBC Introducing. Live, they've graced the stages of the Saint Lucia Jazz Festival, Wien Festival, and London's finest music rooms — Jazz Café, Pizza Express Jazz Club Soho, and 100 Wardour Street.
