Fungi Detective in Dibbinsdale Woods

Following the Fungi Show and Tell event after Wirral Wildlife Groups brief AGM on Friday 11th October at 7.30pm at Thornton Hough W.I. Hall, Neston Road, Thornton Hough, CH63 1JL See Events | Wirral Wildlife

Wirral Wildlife will be out in the field next day discovering more about fungi. Amethyst Deceiver, Chicken in the Woods, Horn of Plenty or Trumpet of Death are some of the fascinating fungi we might find in these ancient woodlands of Dibbinsdale Local Nature Reserve, Bromborough Wirral.

We will be guided by a local and enthusiastic mycologist wanting to share his joy of fungi.

N.B. there are steep slopes, and paths may be muddy stout footwear needed. Not suitable for wheelchairs or those with poor walking ability.

Please meet in the Diibinsdale car park which is clearly signposted as you enter from Spital Road
