About the Presenter:
Shannon Halligan is CEO of Halligan Creative Arts Therapy, PLLC and has been running an art therapy-based private practice since 2012. She is a New York State Licensed Creative Arts therapist, Adjunct Professer with Alfred University, Certified Life Coach, and Level 1 Reiki Pracitioner. Shannon has been a local leader and advocate in art therapy being paneled with Cigna, MVP, and has 8 of 13 NYS Blue Cross Blue Shield paneled art therapists within her practice. An expert across the board, Shannon has a special connection with individuals with disabilities, youth diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, the LGBTQ+ community, and our growing geriatric population. She is passionate about sharing her experience and supporting the professional growth of others by offering educational trainings and supervision.
