A few months ago, our friend "Big Al" Berkholtz slipped due to winter weather conditions, and landed himself in a rehabilitation facility in Weyauwega, WI, for what is going on for months now. Due to broken bones and the nature of his injuries, this is unfortunately the best suited recovery option, and it comes with a price tag. After Al's health benefits take care of what they can, he is left with a hefty weekly bill.
A group of Big Al's friends have gotten together to organize an opportunity to raise some money to help out the man who would give the shirt off his back and go the extra mile for anyone in need. On Saturday, June 29, 2024, the plan is to have a motorcycle/vehicle ride leave from The Crow Bar in Nekoosa at 10:30am, visit local establishments, and end up downtown Wisconsin Rapids at 4 Stools Short. During the ride, others will be able to come for a day full of raffles, live music, food and drink, and fun with friends starting at 1:00pm at 4 Stools Short.
