The 7 Elements of Writing workshop is designed to help aspiring writers articulate their thoughts and transform them into structured stories. Conducted by Amatya, a professional screenwriter with over 10 years of experience, the workshop aims to empower individuals with the foundational tools of writing.
Why Writing?
Every person has ideas, but not everyone knows how to articulate them.
Writing is a way to express and structure thoughts effectively.
This workshop provides practical tools to help participants develop perspective and improve their storytelling abilities.
The workshop introduces the 7 key elements of writing, which act as the fundamental building blocks for any literary work:
Idea – The core thought or spark behind a story.
Subject & Theme – What the story is about and the underlying message.
Genre – The style and category of storytelling (e.g., drama, thriller, comedy).
Character – Creating engaging and well-rounded characters.
Story & Structure – Organizing the narrative flow.
Plot – The sequence of events that drive the story.
Scene – Individual moments that bring the story to life.
The learning process is interactive, with exercises, games, and worksheets to ensure hands-on experience. Designed to be fun, judgment-free, and open to all age groups. Aims to enhance creativity, storytelling skills, and self-expression.
Writing is not just about words—it’s about perspective, emotion, and structure. This workshop helps participants develop, refine, and express their ideas confidently while learning the art of storytelling.
