This class is one of a series of "suncatcher" classes.
A three to four hour fundamental class introducing stained glass using the Tiffany method of glass cutting, grinding, foiling and soldering. Students will take home two completely finished pieces of stained glass art ready to be added to any plant or garden (these are good indoors and outdoors). This class offers a wonderful experience for creating a handmade craft that is perfect for adding a personal touch to your home decor or gifting something special.

Class Overview:
This class provides a supportive environment tailored to all skill levels, especially beginners. We will use a template to create our stained glass mushroom plant stakes. We will discuss design creation for your intermediate projects ahead. Students will learn and perform the basics of glass selection, cutting, grinding, foiling, burnishing, soldering, cleaning, using patina and polish, as well as how to safely hang your finished stained glass piece.
