We’re Returning to Central Florida!
Kyle Lam Sound Healing is excited to return to Central Florida for our Fundamentals of Sound Healing: Level 2 Intermediate Sound Healer Training, hosted at OM Meditation & Wellness near Tampa, Florida!
This immersive two-day experience is created for practitioners who are ready to move beyond the foundational techniques of sound healing and begin learning how to bring multiple instruments together into a cohesive, intentional, and musically dynamic sound journey.
Where Level 1 focuses on establishing confidence with the fundamental techniques of crystal singing bowls and gongs, Level 2 is about crafting & sequencing a sound journey.
Throughout the weekend, Kyle will guide you through more intermediate techniques using crystal singing bowls, planetary gongs, and accessory instruments, teaching you how to transition between them, layer them together, create intentional musical relationships, and structure a sound bath that feels fluid from beginning to end.
The goal is to help you evolve from simply playing instruments to understanding how to craft an experience through sound.
Taking Your Crystal Bowl Practice Further
Crystal singing bowls will serve as one of the primary foundations of our Level 2 training.
Rather than revisiting basic activation techniques, we’ll begin exploring how your bowls can work together as a musical system.
Kyle will guide you through more intermediate approaches to chord combinations, layering, droning, harmonies, transitions, rhythm, timing, dynamics, and sequencing, helping you understand how different notes can support one another throughout a sound journey.
You’ll learn how to create movement without rushing, how to maintain enough variation to keep a sound journey from becoming repetitive, and how to use musical relationships to create a more intentional experience for your participants.
We’ll also explore how to transition between different bowl combinations while maintaining continuity, allowing your sound bath to feel like one evolving journey rather than a collection of individual techniques.
Integrating Crystal Bowls & Gongs
One of the central focuses of our Level 2 training will be learning how to blend crystal singing bowls and gongs together.
These instruments can each create incredibly powerful experiences independently, but learning how to move intentionally between them opens an entirely new dimension within your sound healing practice.
Kyle will teach you how to identify musical and tonal relationships between your bowls and different gongs, allowing you to create smoother transitions and more intentional combinations.
You’ll explore how to introduce the gong without creating an abrupt change in volume or energy, how to transition from bowls into gongs and back again, and how to layer the two instruments together.
We’ll work with a variety of gongs throughout the weekend, allowing you to experience how different tones, frequencies, sizes, and styles can complement your crystal bowls.
Rather than treating the gong as a completely separate portion of your sound bath, you’ll begin learning how to make your bowls and gongs feel like part of the same musical conversation.
Incorporating Accessory Instruments
We’ll also explore how accessory instruments can add texture, contrast, movement, and variety to your sound journey.
Kyle will demonstrate how instruments such as rain sticks, ocean drums, chimes, and other complementary sound healing instruments can be strategically incorporated alongside your crystal bowls and gongs.
Accessory instruments are not simply about adding more sounds. Their placement can help create transitions, introduce new textures, provide moments of contrast, and prevent longer sound journeys from becoming overly repetitive.
You’ll learn how to determine when an accessory instrument enhances a sound journey and when less is actually more.
The intention is to begin viewing every instrument within your collection as having a purpose within the larger experience rather than feeling the need to simply play everything you have.
Crafting & Sequencing a Complete Sound Journey
One of the biggest transitions between a foundational and intermediate sound healing practice is learning how to think beyond individual techniques.
At Level 2, we’ll begin looking at your sound bath as a complete journey.
How do you begin?
How quickly should the experience evolve?
When should you introduce new instruments?
How do you build intensity without overwhelming your participants?
How do you transition between different instrument families?
How do you create variation without losing cohesiveness?
And how do you gradually bring the experience back toward stillness?
Kyle will guide you through the process of building a sound journey with greater intention, exploring how rhythm, timing, dynamics, instrumentation, transitions, layering, and silence can work together to create an experience that continually evolves.
We’ll explore how to establish an opening, gradually develop your soundscape, introduce new instruments and textures, build toward stronger moments of sound, and ultimately guide the experience back toward greater spaciousness and stillness.
Rather than following a rigid formula, you’ll begin developing the musical awareness needed to make decisions intuitively while still understanding the technical principles behind them.
Rhythm, Timing & Dynamics
Knowing how to play your instruments is only one part of creating a powerful sound bath. Knowing when to play, when to transition, when to build, and when to create space can completely change the experience.
Throughout Level 2, we’ll explore the importance of rhythm and timing within longer sound journeys.
Playing too quickly can cause you to move through your combinations before participants have had an opportunity to settle into them, while moving too slowly can cause sections of your sound bath to begin feeling repetitive.
Kyle will teach you how to find greater balance between these two extremes while using volume, pacing, intensity, repetition, and silence to create natural movement throughout your experience.
Develop Your Own Style
As your technical abilities evolve, so should your individual expression as a sound healer.
Level 2 is not about teaching every student to facilitate exactly like Kyle. Instead, Kyle will share the techniques and principles he uses within his own sound baths while encouraging you to experiment with them and discover what resonates with your individual style.
Throughout the weekend, you’ll have opportunities to practice different combinations, experiment with transitions, explore various instruments, and receive personalized guidance from Kyle.
The intention is for you to leave with greater confidence not only in what you are playing, but in understanding why you are playing it.
An Intimate Training Limited to 10 Students
To preserve the hands-on and personalized nature of Level 2, this training will be limited to just 10 students.
The smaller group setting will give each student more opportunities to work directly with Kyle, practice different techniques and sequences, receive individualized feedback, and spend meaningful time experimenting with the instruments throughout both days.
As an intermediate training, we want you to have the space to ask questions, make adjustments, explore your own style, and receive guidance specific to where you are within your practice.
Please Bring Your Crystal Singing Bowls
Because Level 2 involves significantly more individual practice, experimentation, and sequencing, students are requested to bring their own set of crystal singing bowls to the training.
Working with your own bowls allows you to become more familiar with the exact instruments you will continue using after the weekend. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the unique tonal relationships within your personal set and learn how to build sequences and combinations around the instruments already available to you.
If you do not own a set of crystal singing bowls or are traveling and unable to bring them, we can allocate a crystal bowl set for you to use during the training.
We simply ask that you let us know ahead of time so we can reserve and prepare a set specifically for you. The number of additional sets available will be limited, so advance notice is required.
You are also welcome to bring any accessory instruments you regularly use and would like to explore during the weekend.
You are not required to bring a gong. Kyle will provide a collection of gongs for students to work with throughout the training.
Who Is This Training For?
Our Level 2 Intermediate Training is designed for students who already understand the technical foundations of playing crystal singing bowls and are ready to begin integrating those skills into a more complete sound healing practice.
While we highly recommend completing Kyle Lam Sound Healing’s Fundamentals of Sound Healing Level 1 Training before attending, it is not an absolute requirement.
If you have completed a Level 1 sound healing training with another teacher or program and already feel confident with the foundational techniques of playing crystal singing bowls, you are welcome to join us.
You should already feel comfortable with fundamental techniques such as activating your bowls, creating consistent resonance, controlling volume, using a mallet around the rim, and working with multiple bowls.
This is not a beginner crystal bowl training. We want to spend our time together advancing your existing skills rather than reteaching the fundamentals.
If you are unsure whether your current experience is appropriate for Level 2, please reach out to us at [email protected]. We’ll be happy to help determine whether you are ready for the training.
More Than a Weekend Training
As with all Kyle Lam Sound Healing trainings, your education and support do not end when the weekend concludes.
Students receive lifetime support from Kyle and his team, allowing you to continue reaching out with questions related to the material covered during your training, instrument recommendations, playing techniques, sequencing, or your continued development as a sound healer.
You’ll also receive access to exclusive student discounts on select sound healing instruments and future Kyle Lam Sound Healing trainings, helping you continue expanding your education and instrument collection as your practice evolves.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to complete Kyle Lam Sound Healing Level 1 before attending?
We highly recommend it, but it is not mandatory.
If you have completed another foundational sound healing training and have already developed confidence with the basic technical techniques of crystal singing bowls, you may be eligible to attend Level 2.
If you are uncertain, please contact us at [email protected] before registering.
Is this training appropriate for beginners?
No. This training is designed as an intermediate-level experience.
Students should already understand the foundational mechanics of playing crystal singing bowls so that we can focus our weekend on integration, musicality, sequencing, layering, transitions, and more intermediate applications.
How many students will be attending?
This training is intentionally limited to only 10 students.
Keeping the group small allows for more individualized attention from Kyle, additional hands-on practice, and more opportunities to receive personalized feedback throughout the weekend.
Do I need to bring my own crystal singing bowls?
We ask that students bring their own crystal singing bowl set whenever possible.
One of the benefits of Level 2 is learning how to apply these techniques directly to the instruments you already own and will continue practicing with after the training.
What if I don't own crystal bowls or can't travel with them?
We can allocate a crystal singing bowl set for you to use during the training.
Please contact us ahead of time so we can reserve a set specifically for you. Additional sets are limited and must be arranged in advance.
Do I need to bring a gong?
No. Kyle will provide a collection of gongs for students to practice with throughout the weekend.
Can I bring my own accessory instruments?
Absolutely. If you have chimes, rain sticks, ocean drums, or other accessory instruments that you regularly incorporate into your practice, you are welcome to bring them.
This also gives you the opportunity to learn how the instruments you already own can be more intentionally incorporated into your sound journeys.
What makes Level 2 different from Level 1?
Level 1 is primarily about learning the foundational techniques of the instruments. Level 2 is about crafting & sequencing a sound journey.
Rather than spending the majority of our time on foundational playing techniques, we’ll focus on musical relationships, chord combinations, sequencing, layering, transitions, rhythm, timing, dynamics, accessory instruments, and blending crystal bowls with gongs.
Will we practice creating our own sound journeys?
Yes. Hands-on practice remains one of the most important parts of our trainings.
You’ll have opportunities throughout the weekend to apply what you are learning, experiment with different combinations, practice transitions, and begin developing sequences of your own while receiving guidance and feedback from Kyle.
Is this training only for professional sound healers?
No. Level 2 can be valuable whether you currently facilitate professionally, incorporate sound into another wellness modality, or simply want to develop a more sophisticated personal practice.
The important prerequisite is your technical foundation with crystal singing bowls, rather than whether you currently operate a sound healing business.
Will I receive a certification?
Students will have the option to receive a Certificate of Completion after completing the Level 2 Intermediate Sound Healer Training.
What happens after the training?
You’ll continue to have lifetime support from Kyle and the Kyle Lam Sound Healing team for questions related to your training and continued development.
Students will also receive access to exclusive discounts on select sound healing instruments and future trainings.
