Fundamentals of Nonprofit Finance

This training is designed to make you more comfortable with nonprofit finance. We’ll walk through nonprofit financial reports including the income statement (statement of activities) and balance sheet (statement of financial position). You will gain an understanding of nonprofit finance terminology, financial statements, and staff and board roles and responsibilities. This workshop is right for you if you are new to the nonprofit sector, nonprofit finance, or your position as staff or board member.

This training will be held in-person at Open Book in Minneapolis in Room 203 Conference Room. We recommend you arrive 10 minutes to allow time to park and arrive at the room for a 9:00 start time. There is a parking lot with limited spots and on-street parking.

Propel workshops are not recorded.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Your space is guaranteed upon receipt of the registration fee. Checks must be received prior to event to complete registration and guarantee space.
