Fundamentals of Nei Gong

An introductory two-day course on the Fundamentals of Nei Gong taught by Nikolas Benedikt - an instructor from Lotus Nei Gong International. The course location is at Rotary Centre for the Arts in Kelowna.

Day one is October 5  9 AM - 12 PM

Day two is October 19  9 AM - 12 PM

Over these two days students will be instructed in Daoist methods of awakening their energy system and the fundamentals of beginning a practice of Nei Gong. Nikolas will provide quality instruction and guide students step-by-step in how to navigate internal training. The course will get detailed on specific breath-work principles of energetic practice and direct work with the Lower DanTian energetic center. Students will be equipped with the foundational structure and exercises to prepare and develop through the early stages as well as receiving ongoing guidance from Nikolas. An internal practice of this kind gives you an experiential knowing and tangibility of subtle energetics.

Nei Gong translates to "skill of the internal environment/microcosm." When we develop our internal energy (Qi) our health and well-being benefit greatly our mind-body connection increases and we begin to unlock our potential as a human being. Your instructor Nikolas Benedikt has been studying the Daoist Arts for over a decade and is a certified instructor of Lotus Nei Gong International. He has a strong background of martial arts and began subtle energetic practice with Qi Gong in 2010. He's studied closely with his teachers Damo Mitchell and Roni Edlund since 2013 and has spent 7 consecutive summers training full-time in a retreat setting in the forests of Sweden. His expertise is in the energetic art of Nei Gong which includes Qi Gong Dao Yin though his studies also include Internal Alchemy (Nei Dan Gong) Taijiquan Baguazhang Chinese Medicine and meditation.
