Classes will take place from 8 AM to 5:30 PM on Thursday July 15 and Friday July 16, 2021.Cost is $100 for AFP members and $120 for non-members.
This program was developed with a foundation from the AFP Essentials of Fundraising Program and the AFP First Course in Fundraising. It is up-to-date, including the latest in technology from social media to CRM--and was just released last month as Fundamentals of Fundraising 2.0. The course is composed of 7 modules that have been designed by experienced fundraising professionals to meet the real-world needs and challenges nonprofit organizations face every day. This 16-hour program includes case studies and projects for groups and individuals to make the learning experience both substantive and enjoyable. This intensive program will provide an overview of skills, techniques, and program components for individuals with 0 to 4 years of fundraising experience. It is also a great refresher for those with more experience. The modules include:
* Overview of Fundraising
* Developing an Integrated Fundraising Program
* Marketing for Ongoing Success
* Building and Sustaining Relationships
* Securing the Gift
* Volunteers--Partners in Fundraising
* Management and Accountability
Each student will also receive a comprehensive notebook including sample solicitation and stewardship materials, planning forms, templates, reports, communication ideas, management documents, and more.
This course is sponsored by The Community Foundation of Martin-St. Lucie. The usual cost for this course is $390--but due to a generous grant from The Community Foundation of Martin-St. Lucie, the cost to participants has been reduced to $100 for AFP members and $120 for non-members.
